Timberbench will provide you with a solid timber kitchen benchtop that is attractive, hardwearing and environmentally friendly.
We can supply a Timberbench only, or supply and install your Timberbench. Or we can install your flat-packed kitchen and fit a Timberbench. The combination of a flat-packed kitchen (e.g. from Bunnings, Kitset or Ikea) together with a Timberbench gives you a quality kitchen at a reasonable price, with a unique hand-made feature which has a tactile warmth not seen in either granite or laminate.
We cover the whole Melbourne metro area and the Peninsula.

Hi Stuart, As promised, I’ve attached a picture of your beautiful bench. We love it, love the way it brings warmth to a modern room. We’ve already shared many meals and drinks over it, with many more to come.Rachael, Aspendale

Are timber benches hard wearing?
Yes, Tasmanian Oak floors last over a hundred years. You won’t wear out a timber bench.
Do timber benches require a lot of maintenance?
Day-to-day cleaning is a simple matter of wiping with a damp sponge. A weekly wipe down with a non-toxic, antibacterial citrus oil keeps the bench in optimum condition. Every three years or so the bench will require a coat of Osmo Hardwax finish. This is a simple brush-on finish. Minimal sanding is required.
Are timber benches water and stain-resistant?
Yes. Osmo Hardwax is a high quality German finish. As well as being stain and water-resistant it is foodsafe and
low in VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
Is a timber bench environmentally friendly?
Yes. Australia has high standards of responsible forestry management and all timber is from sustainably managed sources. Timber stores carbon permanently and, at the end of the product’s service, benches are easily repurposed.
